The Bible is full of information about God and His instructions for our happiness and eternal life. Its promises go way beyond the ordinary. Forgiveness. Love. Happiness. Treasures. Eternal life. Communion with God. And, when you step forward with an honest heart, an even more amazing thing happens. The one of whom the bible teaches, Jesus, infuses His power into you, which enables you to change your life. With all these benefits, knowledge is infinitely better then ignorance. Yet, humanity struggles against the Bible, going contrary to its teaching in varying degrees. There are some who go on a search for God, while simultaneously ignoring God's words. There are some who study the words of the Bible, yet do not allow the reality of it to penetrate their minds. And then there are some who study the Scriptures with honesty of heart and it changes their lives. The Bible's harmony, fulfilled prophecy and accompanying power testify to its accuracy and authority as the word of God. As a result, the evidence it presents becomes God's word and His will for your life -- not able to be cast aside. The evidence becomes very relevant. It does matter! |
